From idea to object

Prototyping, that is the rapid production of a physical part, a model or an assembly, to successfully materialize your projects.

Is it a long time that you have an idea in your head and want to try to achieve?

But you don't know if it is feasible!

You have no idea how much it will cost!

You don't know how to start!

We provide you a prototyping service, specially designed for small businesses, start-ups and individuals, modular and scalable according to your needs. If you have a project, an idea or a prototype to be realised, we can support you in a global, partial or punctual way, to take care of your needs whatever the progress of the project.

How to give shape to your creative idea:

Feasibility analysis, we help you understand if your project is feasible and in what way, an idea cannot always be carried out, sometimes we may encounter technical inconsistencies or we can detect that the costs exceed the benefits, it can be painful, we know this well but it is better to stop immediately to find a valid alternative, even if it means completely upsetting the project.

Creation of virtual objects, with the use of CAD software, we can create a virtual object, existing only in the memory of the computer, but with characteristics and dimensions equal to those which will be specific to the finished object. Still on the computer, it will be possible to view it, rotate it and configure it in augmented reality, it will also be possible to perform mathematical calculations which will allow us to predict some of its characteristics.

  • Choice of material, it is possible to apply a material to the virtual model, so that it can be evaluated both from an aesthetic and functional point of view.
  • Calculation of stress and resistances, the latest generation CAD software allows, thanks to mathematical calculations, to predict the resistance levels with the different materials chosen and to identify the weak points.
  • Test of the breaking loads, in the same way as the stress and resistances, it is possible to identify the breaking points, allowing modifications or the addition of reinforcements.

3D prototype, with the use of CAM category software, coded instructions are generated and pass to the machines used to create the real object from the prototype object, so that you can touch and test it. The techniques used to make the object are essentially of two types: Additive, with the addition of material such as 3D printing; Or Subtractive, with material removal such as cnc milling;

  • 3D printing, consists of adding material in the form of a filament or resin, today modern techniques allow the use of filaments of the most varied materials, in addition to conventional PLA, PLG, PET, Theflon and many others. Or even special filaments enriched with materials such as wood, carbon or noble metals.
  • CNC milling, consists of removing material through more or less complex milling cutters, capable of operating on 3, 4 or even 5 axes. Or in the laser cutting of materials such as wood, aluminum, plastic, composite or hybrid materials (wood, plastic, cardboard and various agglomerates.)

If you want to know more about Prototyping Techniques, or you are a craftsman who wants to specialize in this field, or you want to learn CAD / CAM software etc., see our training in the section Innovative teaching and learning

But if you want to be independent and equip your laboratory, we can enable you to operate independently, with our training and with advice and indications tailored to your needs. Visit the training section to see our standard courses or contact us for a specific request in the section contact us

GOOD ! you've come to read so far, it means that you have an idea in mind ... before deciding to contact us or other professionals in the sector, Protect your idea.

This is the priority. Deposit a patent with an intellectual property protection organization, or simpler and less expensive, fill in and deposit an envelope. Consist of describing your invention or idea. The mere fact of mailing the envelope guarantees the precedence of your invention in the event that a competing patent is filed.
